Anti-Porch

Pirates

Uh-Oh:

Porch Piracy has become more and more common over the last few years.

Solution:

As the leader in package delivery, FedEx is joining the fight. Stopping porch piracy will require creative tactics that will catch them off guard. FedEx is here for the challenge.

Manifesto

Imagine this: You've splurged on a fancy new set of DJ gear for Grandma's 75th birthday bash. Cruising home from work, anticipation building, you check your phone to find the DJ gear has been delivered!

But as you arrive, there's no sign of your precious package.

You've fallen prey to the notorious porch pirates, and thanks to their sticky fingers, Grandma's dreams of throwing an epic rager are dashed. Luckily, you're a FedEx customer, and we don't take piracy lightly.

We are a service that's built on delivering. No matter what. And if your package disappears from your porch before you get your hands on it, then it wasn't delivered.

Porch pirates don’t play fair, so we won’t either. Prepare for a bit of porch-pirate warfare that will not only keep your packages in place, but also, put a smile on your face.

Porch pirates beware. Here be FedEx.

Pirates Stunts

Hidden Cargo

Keep the porch pirates cruising through FedEx's “Hidden Cargo” delivery option.

This delivery method will be a premium option for consumers who request their items be packaged in “hidden cargo” alternatives that blend in with the environment.

Wanted Boxes

Ahoy! You’re on Camera!

To help combat against crooked porch pirates, FedEx will partner with RING to capture photos of those thieving “scallywags”. These photos will be put on WANTED posters printed on FedEx boxes that are delivered around those cities/neighborhoods.

Pirate Insurance

Protect Your booty at all cost.

FedEx will offer an additional insurance plan option to ensure that all packages stolen by porch pirates will be eligible for full refunds.

Social

Putting an end to no good pirate booty snatchers!

FedEx will partner with Chris Handerson to create a TikTok spin-off show called “To Catch a Pirate.”
Handerson and his camera crew will be ready to catch the porch pirate in the act and continue to interrogate them in a humorous, light-hearted way.

Glitter Bomb Trap

Who knew pirates looked good in glitter?

FedEx will partner with Youtuber Mark Robber to create and plant fake boxes in well-known porch pirate hotspots. The boxes will contain glitter bombs inside, with the title “Not all treasure is silver and gold, mate.” - Jack Sparrow
